Drawing quickly before they move - my latest challenge!
The coffee-book shop, take 2
From a few weeks back when we dragged Daddy to the bookshop too.
The coffee-book shop
Our weekly trip here was very relaxed this week, I even managed to sneak in a couple of sketches whilst they drank their "coffee"!
A pencil sketch
Something slightly different, pencil instead of pen. He was half-way through a cardboard tunnel, and very pleased with himself.
These two...
Cuddling whilst they wash their hands...and flood the sink!
The hats and coats are out!
I love a cold sunny day!
Just a little doodle
I promise he is just picking up a flower, nothing else!
Something for the wall??
Courteousy of a good friend's recommendation, I have had some of my work printed. Sadly my photography skills do not do the sketches justice, but as a taster of what these could look like, I'm really pleased!
Half term...
It wasn't the best! But here's two cuties enjoying bath-time.
Sleeping beauty
He always looks so peaceful when he's asleep!
Eating toast...
Something we do a lot in our house, particularly after school, especially as it grows cold. (Plus a sneaky spider plant, colour image too!)
Definitely need to get into a better rhythm with this.
Whilst out with the boys last week we saw a band of buskers which kept our attention for a good ten minutes! Sadly this guy wasn't amongst the men we saw, but he was very much inspired by them.
Two little boys...
They make a lot of noise, but they look sweet doing it.
Ah the return of routine
Back to our local coffee/book shop today, where the boys enjoyed stories and "coffee".
A selfie from the beach
So not a sketch today but a line drawing from fun on the beach earlier today.
The start of a new project?
Still working on how to get the bike right, but got to start somewhere!
A thistle
This beautiful flower holds so many memories for me.
A sketch
An opportunity to display some of my hand-drawn illustrations here. To get me started, this is a little one eating his lunch.
